Thank you so much to EFPT Products for the provision of your DSX Defender II Liquid Wax for use on the 2010 Polar Challenge.

We didn't use the wax for the 100 mile walk to the start line, which was terrain wise, much easier than the race proper.

However during the race, the wax made a noticeable  difference to the running of the pulk and smoother gliding on a 350 mile haul, was very much appreciated.

Having a pulk that weighed almost as much as me, meant that the wax provided some relief to the daily grind!

It also provided much fun on the downhill stretches trying to keep in front of it! 

The net effect of the wax and long long days meant we successfully secured 3rd place for Help for Heroes!!
